Ma ma, mom mom, da da, bye, hi, ba...these are a few common words first spoken by babies. We assumed Adeline would follow suit in saying at least da da or ma ma, or at least ma or da. Boy, were we wrong. Adeline thought it would be fitting to say the name of her very best friend. Oscar. One name, one cat, one heartbroken, yet very proud, mommy. It is quite possibly the cutest thing she's done since being born on Father's Day.
O, so sorry Kim! What a smart little cookie though! Not even 7 mnths and already talking! Maybe her next word will be mama! :)
