Room Update...

I realize that many of you haven't seen Addy Mack's room with all the fixins so I desperately need to update this thing so you can be inspired to buy all your baby furniture from The Lloyd Co which is located at 113 E. Main St. in Bainbridge. Tell them how you heard about them and they'll strike you a pretty good deal, either that or they will charge you double.

Here is the crib and the chair that made it just in time. I carried this up the stairs and unpacked it right before we left for the hospital.

The changing table/ dresser which is a fine home to all things baby. Also notice the diaper locker/dog food container in the corner. Very important piece of furniture I am told.

Another picture of the changing table in an attempt to highlight the animals on the wall. If this kid came with some congenital fear of animals I think that we may have to redecorate.

The new babysitter that I just put in two days before Adeline's epic journey down route birthing canal. Hopefully this will allow me to get some good golfing in this summer.

Here is little Miss Adeline immediately after busting out of that joint they call Grant Medical Center. She thought it appropriate to wear the coolest shirt ever.

Before we left the hospital yesterday we were forced by knifepoint to pick a middle name for this child. I was kinda leaning toward Adeline Hairy Mongrel Lloyd but that was struck down after a long mass debate. Scroll down to the previous post to get the update.

Sweet Adeline, Ba Ba Ba...

Little Miss Adeline Makenna, 6lbs 7oz, 19in long. The world is not yet prepared for the cuteness that she will bestow upon it.

Beneath the pink hat lies a beautiful head of dark hair ..... much like the hair on our milk man's head ..... what a coincidence!

My "new" family! I couldn't be happier! Why am I yelling?!

My gorgeous bride with the small female human we are going to call Adeline. Let's just hope that she gets her momma's looks.

Overjoyed, ecstatic, elated, thrilled, euphoric, on cloud nine, tickled pink, frenzied, blissful, pleased as punch.......gone. That should about cover it.

If only Adeline's big sis Bay-dog could've made this picture it would've been me with all my ladies. I'm one lucky feller!

For those of you who follow this blog and are totally unfamiliar with our lives (I'm sure this number is nearing 3-4 billion people by now) I will give you a brief overview to allow you to catch up. Kimberly and I were married on December 16, 2006. We live in Grove City with our dog Bailey, our cat Oscar Roonie, many fishes, and we will soon be adding a small human. Here are a few of the things that have been keeping me busy over the past few years.....

....school makes me crazy, real crazy, really really crazy!
(make sure you clicky the linkys, all of them!)

I am transitioning from 2nd to 3rd year in vet school so I have done nothing much more than read about strange animal diseases and other things of that sort that I will undoubtedly never see. I will however be an excellent phone-a-friend on "WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE" if any of you ever get on.

This is another thing that keeps me quite busy. I enjoy spending time outside trying to get flowers to grow. This most likely stems from high school when Rami Yoakum did an article about me for the paper and I told him that I was the Rachel Ray of horticulture. I should get this lying thing under control.

My most recent project has consisted of some David Blaine-like tricks.....

I have transformed this beautiful woman, the love of my life, into this..........................................................................................

................................................................the XL version of the same woman!!!!! I know, I know, pretty impressive. Please remember that this is actually the same woman and no, I am not using photoshop or mirrors or anything. This is true magic. I'm thinking that in about two weeks or so I will probably change her back the the XS version but I am growing pretty fond of this one here. This is Kimberly's 38 week photo. Beautiful!
