The Lloyds

We celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary today! It has been an amazing journey so far and we are looking forward to the rest of it! Since Blaker works today and is on call tonight, we went out on our date last night to Easton to eat at The Melting Pot. We enjoyed our kidless evening but missed them like crazy! A special thanks to nanny and papaw for keeping the kiddos for us!

We can't believe our little man is 6 months old already! It seems like time has flown by much faster than it did with Adeline. Oliver has changed a lot this past month. He got 2 bottom teeth a few weeks ago, which we weren't expecting since Adeline didn't get her first tooth until she was 11 months old. He's still sleeping from about 9:00-6:00ish then goes back to sleep until 9 or 10, or when big sis wakes him up. He adores his big sister. He grins ear to ear as soon as she walks into the room. It is so much fun watching these two interact. Oliver loves his baby food; his favorites are bananas, peaches, sweet potatoes, apples, prunes, pears, squash. He's not very fond of anything green...just like his daddy! He is starting to sit up pretty well on his own and rolling to where he wants to go, not at all interested in crawling. He loves to stand and bounce in his jumperoo, but not as crazy as sissy was. He is constantly jabbering and laughing. I'm working on "ma-ma" with him, but all he'll say is ba ba. Adeline says he's a sheep when he does it. His 6 month checkup went well, other than getting 4 shots. He weighs 17lbs 2 oz and is 27 inches long. For all you who laugh at his chins, he's under the 50th percentile in weight!! 

It was brought to our attention this past week that the LloydsZoo members were slacking on their blog. We apologize for withholding entertainment from you all. It has been a pretty busy past few months. We had an awesome Thanksgiving and were thankful for daddy being home for 4 days with us! Adeline definitely got spoiled...mommy and Oliver too! The Lloyd Co. Christmas dinner was last weekend. Entertainment was provided by yours truly. Just give Adeline a microphone and she'll take care of the rest ;)  I think she's going to be the next singing superstar. We finally found our Christmas tree and decorations so we put them up last night. As soon as I plugged the lights in, Adeline yelled, "Awesome!"  This kid loves Christmas already. She sings Happy Birthday to Jesus almost everyday. Oliver is growing by the minute. He has his 6 month checkup tomorrow so we'll update you with his stats. We absolutely love our babies and have enjoyed every minute of the holiday season so far!

Happy Halloween from the Lloyd crew!

My beautiful wife took me to my very first 49ers game today. I have been a lifelong fan but my parents never thought it was necessary to take me as a child. So my wife surprised me with tickets and headed to Cincinnati to watch them pound on the Bengals. Despite getting sunburned and being surrounded by a bunch of obnoxious Bengal fans, it was a great day with the wifey. Thanks Kimberly, I love you babe.

Jonas Brandon finally decided to make his appearance into the world this past Thursday. Welcome to the (crazy) family little guy! Congrats Erin, Erik, Malachi, and Elliott!

Blaker and I both had the weekend off and decided to spoil our little lady with some mommy and daddy time. On Friday I took the kids to Aha! Museum in Lancaster with nanny, Aunt Kristen and Ellie. I had heard it was fun and have been wanting to take Adeline there so we made the trip up. She had a blast!

On Saturday, Blaker and I took them to Hirsch's Fruit Farm for a day of picking apples and fun. We had lots of fun with the kiddos and hope for many more weekends of family fun!
