We had been wanting to get a new puppy for a couple of years and never thought it was the right time. When is the right time to buy a dog anyway? We finally agreed that Adeline and Oliver needed a new brother...and Adeline needed to get over her fear of dogs. So, on Mother's Day weekend, we welcomed our new member, Harvey, into the family. He is an 8 week old Great Dane and is the most lovable puppy we could have found. He's not very hyper and sleeps most of the day, which is perfect for Adeline. She is still warming up to him and has pet him twice...quite an accomplishment! Here are a few pictures of our first day together...
