Yesterday was our sweet girl's 2nd birthday. We can't believe how fast the time has flown by. We started our day by making pancakes for breakfast then playing with little brother until mommy figured out what to do next. Adeline loves Sumburger (like her mommy) so we loaded up and headed to town. Luckily Nanny had come over to see the birthday girl, so she helped us get ready. We were met there by Papaw, Grammy, Grampy, and Daddy surprised our princess during his lunch break! After we got home Adeline got to help make her cupcakes. She had a lot of fun and didn't even make a big mess! Since daddy was still at work and he had to go to Columbus after work, we decided to go to Nanny and Papaw's so Adeline could play with Carly, Claire, and Catie. They played in the kiddie pool (nanny and papaw need a bigger pool) and ran through the octopus sprinkler until it started to storm. Adeline had a blast with her cousins. After dinner, the girls decorated the cupcakes we had made earlier in the day. All 5 kids (including Oliver) got baths and we waited for daddy to come pick us up. Thankfully, Adeline fell asleep on the way home because our electric had gone out during the storm. It was a fun day for our special girl and we look forward to celebrating with family on Sunday!
