Made it to 30 weeks!

We're hitting the 30 week mark this week! We can't believe how fast this is going! Only 10 more to go. Every night we try to picture ourselves with a baby next to us on the couch or in bed and it just seems so unreal right now. We cannot be more excited to add another Lloyd to the crew! He/she is going to be one rotten child though...based on all the movement going on in my belly. And of course, based on his or her father. We would love to hear your guesses on the sex! About 98% of people we know have guessed boy. The heart rate has been in the upper 120s to lower 130s for all you old wives' tale folk. Here's the bump at 30!
We also wanted to show what our rotten dog does when mommy leaves for work. I guess pregnancy pillows work for dogs too!

Oscar was jealous and wanted to keep baby warm.

We wanted to post some pictures of our nieces & nephew because they are all just too darn cute! Eliana is 1 month, Carly is 5, Malachi is 3, Isabel is 8 months, Claire is 1, and Kailen is 2.

Today was dedicated to our little peanut. After much debate and planning, we finally decided to paint the nursery! The first picture is the before followed by our day #1 progress. The only part left to do is finish the crown molding on top. And of course, fill it with furniture. A special thank you goes out to Grandma, Aunt Meg, and Nanny for helping us get the perfect nursery ready! We never would have gotten past the stripes without you! Baby Lloyd loves you all!

After a long day at work, this is what I came home to with daddy in charge. Apparently, the jar was empty so he let Bailey devour the rest. We have never seen a peanut butter jar look so clear when she was done! I can only imagine the future stories we'll have once the baby is born!

We had our ultrasound this past week and were able to see our little booger! Of course, the baby didn't cooperate very well to get a real clear shot but we were thrilled with what we got to see! According to the doc, everything looks great and the baby is growing very well all around. We could have found out what the sex is, but we decided not to! The doctor didn't even look for himself! It was an amazing day and we can't believe we're already halfway there!

Kick, Kick, Kick

I woke up this morning to my lovely husband saying, "Honey, your baby is kicking you!" He had woken up 20 minutes before me and had his hand on my belly waiting to feel the baby kicking. He said he felt about 10 kicks, and then decided to wake me up to feel the last couple. Our baby is definitely going to be a daddy's girl/boy because the kicks stopped as soon as I put my hand on my belly! It was the best feeling in the world and am so glad Blake and I got to share that moment together!
